All Saints Church, accessible through a gate in a wall, has a fifteenth century roof with complete figures and some of its' original colouring.

Hopton is well situated to explore East Anglia being on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.
Bury St Edmunds, with its' Cathedral is twelve miles away and the market town of Diss is only eight. The famous Bressingham Gardens are even closer.
Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge are all within easy driving distance.

On entering Stanton, take the B1111 signed to Garboldisham

On entering Garboldisham, take the B1111 signed Stanton.
